In 2022, Founder Michiah Quick embarked on a new chapter in his successful career by establishing a human service organization dedicated to
“HELPING KIDS LEARN, GROW, AND HAVE FUN.”
Raised in Fresno, California, Michiah witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of education and sports on himself and others. His experiences in a community grappling with poverty and violence fueled his motivation to create Quicker Essentials and its associated programs and services. While these initiatives primarily attract athletes, they emphasize a broader mission beyond sports. Our human services organization leverages athletics as a platform to support those in need.
Headquartered in the "Heart of the Central Valley," Quicker Essentials is committed to bridging the gap for young individuals by providing high-quality resources and opportunities.
"I used to be a kid with no home and no family to help me through the tough times. I had to figure things out on my own, and it wasn’t easy. But I was lucky—my friends’ families stepped in, gave me a chance, and helped me keep going. We're [Quicker Essentials] here to do the same for others. We aim to be a real force in the community, offering safety, growth, opportunities, and a sense of pride. We're committed to helping at-risk youth find their way, so they can thrive in every part of life."
