In 2022, Quicker Essentials was launched by professional athlete Michiah Quick to
“HELP GIVE KIDS THE OPPORTUNITIES AND RESOURCES NEEDED TO MAXIMIZE THEIR POTENTIAL.”
Raised in Fresno, California, Michiah experienced firsthand the profound impact of extracurricular activities on both himself and his community. Growing up in an environment challenged by poverty and violence, he was inspired to establish Quicker Essentials and its associated programs and services. While these initiatives primarily engage athletes, their mission extends beyond sports. As a human services organization, Quicker Essentials utilizes athletics as a platform to provide meaningful support to those in need.
Headquartered in the "Heart of the Central Valley," Quicker Essentials is committed to bridging gaps, impacting lives, and creating legacies.
