In 2022, Quicker Essentials was launched by professional athlete Michiah Quick to
“HELP GIVE KIDS THE OPPORTUNITIES AND RESOURCES NEEDED TO MAXIMIZE THEIR POTENTIAL.”
Born and raised in Fresno, California, founder Michiah witnessed firsthand how extracurricular activities can transform lives, strengthen communities, and provide hope amid adversity. Growing up in an environment marked by poverty and violence, he recognized the urgent need for greater support systems—and from that vision, Quicker Essentials was created.
While rooted in athletics, Quicker Essentials is far more than a sports-focused movement. As a Human Service Organization (HSO), we leverage the power of sport as a catalyst for meaningful change, offering programs and services designed to uplift individuals, empower youth, and respond to the real needs of underserved communities.
Headquartered in the Heart of the Central Valley, Quicker Essentials is dedicated to bridging gaps, expanding opportunities, and building lasting legacies—one person, one program, and one community at a time.
